Popplet Bookclubs
Task: Use one iPad per book club to work together creating a map of the main character's traits.
What is Popplet? Popplet is a mind mapping app that allows students to create webs to link together their ideas, pictures, or drawings.
Why I like Popplet: Popplet has an easy to use format that allows students to create and edit their information webs extremely easily. The app allows the ability to take pictures, insert text, or draw.
Things I dislike: We do not have the ability on the free version to save projects and then come back and edit them. Students must complete their work in one sitting and then export their final project because it is possible that another class may want to use this app the next day.

"Using one iPad for a group of students helped us to join forces and work together as a team."
"We were able to split up our assignment into equal parts so that everyone had a chance with the iPad while the others helped. We got to work together easily while still using iPads."
